Our Mission, Vision and Values
Andover and District Mencap's Mission, Vision and Values
Since 1964 we have worked tirelessly to develop a range of bespoke facilities. As part of our offer we provide: supported living services, domiciliary care, community support, supported holidays, clubs and activities, children's respite and short breaks. We also have a community building, The Wellington Centre, which offers a safe space for people with learning disabilities. Our community centre also offers a variety of services, including: room hire, sensory facilities, IT facilities, training and more.
We are continuously building on our successes and developing our services to support the people in our community. We put the needs and wishes of the people we support at the heart of what we do and always strive to grow and excel, raising awareness of, and changing attitudes surrounding, learning disabilities within our community. Our aim is to support, equip and empower everyone with a learning disability to DO MORE and BE MORE.
"All people with a learning disability are enabled to DO MORE and BE MORE."
"Supporting, equipping and empowering everyone to DO MORE and BE MORE."
To support the delivery of our mission we have developed a set of values that we expect everybody within the organisation to hold at the centre of the work they undertake.
- We deliver excellent customer service
- We trust and respect each other
- We are open and honest in our communication
- We are unified in our teamwork
- We embrace change
