Andover and District Mencap is one of the largest care and support providers for adults and children with learning disabilities within the District. Every year, we hold a Charity Golf Day this time at Dummer Golf Club and we aim to raise funds for our Stephen’s Ark Project from this event. We need your help. This year we are continuing our format for the event, ‘Texas Scramble’, and we would like you to enter a team.
As a charity, we support Adults and Children, Families and Carers affected by learning disabilities. And our project Stephen’s Ark provides time out for parents and carers from the caring role. We provide fully managed day and overnight care for children aged 4 – 18 years old who have what would be described as severe and profound disabilities. Our Golf Day will help continue to provide this vital service.
The day (14.07.17) will start with coffee and bacon rolls and the event will comprise an 18 Hole four ball Texas Scramble competition with a 13:04 pm tee time/start. There will also be two prize holes during your round of golf.
All teams should finish by 17.30pm. Presentation of prizes and refreshments/dinner will be in the ‘Clubhouse’ on completion of the days play.
I hope you will enter a team for the event at a bargain price for a great day of golf. Cost is £200 for a team of 4 players. Hole sponsorship is also available.
