Centre Assistant Becky Barratt started the project to provide a safe space for Andover and District Mencap's Clients
"I wanted to create a cafe-style space where our clients could relax which was easy to use," said Becky.
First, the room was clean, cleared,
Howden's, manager Alex Hide help fundraise and supply the units, Wicks supplied the sink and Darryl, The Parish Handyman fitted the new Chill Out room furniture.
The Chill Out room has a modern, cafe-style look. The clients also have new bar stools, table, chairs and most importantly a microwave and coffee machine.
