Chris Dixon – Chief Executive

My 20-year career has been based completely in the children’s, young peoples and families arena. I have delivered services both in the voluntary and public sector, both local and national charities with 5 years in local government included for good measure.

Over the years I have played my part in leading and developing both existing and new projects and the most enjoyable aspect for me is to empower both staff and clients to reach their full potential. The challenge of continuing this at Andover and District Mencap, in these financial times, is one that I could not refuse.

Lisa Rogers – Head of Care and Support - Deputy Chief Executive

I have been working with ADM since August 2008. As Deputy Chief Executive I have a responsibility for Quality and Performance, where I work with the managers and the wider organisation to monitor and ensure high levels of care and support is provided to people with a learning disability. This includes; auditing work, observing people delivering support, and ensuring we are compliant with both CQC and Ofsted regulations.

In addition, I also manage the Business Support Service, which includes Human Resources and Training and ensures's that the staff we employ and recruit have access to high-quality training and support.

Angela Fyfe – Head of Charitable Activities

I have worked within the customer facing field throughout my career. This has included: the local hospital, leisure centre and local businesses. This experience allows me to communicate with a vast range of people in all walks of life and to develop services and provision to meet their needs.

My team work very closely in making sure that your experience when you use The Wellington Centre is a pleasant, professional and happy one. Whether, this is to hire a room or to come in for an activity or an event. We maintain and oversee a busy schedule on a day to day basis and we are very proud of the facilities and activities we offer here for everyone. This is a centre that feels safe and secure and offers activities for not only our old and new members and clients but also for the local community.

Amy Pegg - HR Manager

I joined Andover & District Mencap in 2014, having been drawn to the organisation because of its mission "to enable choice and independence" resonated with me.

I completed my Level 5 Diploma in HR Management in 2016 and became an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

In my role as HR Manager, I oversee the recruitment of new staff as well as the wellbeing and continuous development of our current workforce. Working with the Business Support Services and wider Management Team, I am responsible for ensuring that our staff are supported to deliver excellent levels of care and support for our clients. More recently my remit has widened to include management of our Training and Finance Department.
