We provide a range of bespoke services for children and young people that encourage independence, supports their education and enables better social inclusion.

Opportunities for Children and Young People

This is an exciting and ever-changing department with fun, engaging opportunities for children and young people with a learning disability. 97 children accessed our services with 10,000 hours of care support being supplied by our dedicated team of 74 staff and 11 volunteers who work tirelessly to ensure that services we offer are bespoke and fulfil the needs of the children we engage with.

Engaging Activities and Experiences

Our Short Breaks Manager, Leader and Play Workers work hard to deliver a range of opportunities for children and young people who access our Short Breaks service. Our Playscheme groups offer children and young people a range of experiences, skills and opportunities that are not readily available to those with a learning disability. Please call our Short Breaks Team for more information about our activities.

Care Support Service

The Care and Support Team continues to support a growing number of children requiring a range of services that to enable themselves and their families to experience life to the full. Our team of caring and qualified support workers offer support to the children and young people that access our service all year round. Our commitment to children and young people also extends to ensuring that they are safeguarded from harm with 3 Safeguarding Leads within the organisation.

We work with parents, multi-agency professionals and the local authority to ensure that our services exceed the required regulatory standards and safeguarding needs of children and young people.

The Care support we offer ranges from care in the home to get children and young people ready for the day and ready for bed including personal care, washing, dressing and medication to providing essential social support in the community to encourage independence and social interaction.

Activities for all the Family

Supporting families to have positive time together is important to us as an organisation. We recognise that a family who laughs and smiles together is a family that overcomes a challenge. We are committed to providing activities, respite and support that will help individuals and families as a whole.
