We provide a range of bespoke services for children and young people that encourage independence, supports their education and enables better social inclusion.
Our Central Services Manager, Children and Young People's Coordinator and Play Workers work hard to deliver a range of opportunities for children and young people who access our Short Breaks Service. Our Playschemes and Youth Group offer children and young people a range of experiences, skills and opportunities that are not readily available to those with a learning disability. Please call our Short Breaks Team for more information about our activities on 01264 321840.
The Care and Support Team continues to support a growing number of children and young people requiring a range of services that enables them and their families to experience life to the full. Our team of caring and qualified support workers offer support to the children and young people that access our service all year round. Our commitment to children and young people also extends to ensuring that they are safeguarded from harm with 2 Designated Safeguarding Leads within the organisation.
We work with parents, multi-agency professionals and the local authority to ensure that our services exceed the required regulatory standards and safeguarding needs of children and young people.
The Care support we offer ranges from care in the home to get children and young people ready for the day and ready for bed (including personal care, washing, dressing and medication) to providing essential social support in the community to encourage independence and social interaction.
Supporting families to have a positive time together is important to us as an organisation. We recognise that a family who laughs and smiles together is a family that overcomes challenges. We are committed to providing activities, respite and support that will help individuals and families as a whole.
